My father just passed a month ago. He loved palm trees. Therapy for me is to plant one in my yard. One he would really love. Although I had no gumption for gardening for about a month, I'm once again enjoying my selfish time with it. So good to see life flourish under my care- even when I'm blue.

eoasa,
You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. Planting his favorite tree sounds like an excellent idea. I think we are allowed a little selfish time to grieve and heal, so plant a few flowers or veggies, too.

Thank you for reading and commenting.
Take care of yourself,
