I have a small collection of small garden statuary and all are made up from different materials. I have some concrete, some resin, some undetermined... When I am good I take them in for the winter, but I have flubbed on occasion. I have a new little piece a just bought and it is made up of "cast stone." I have no idea what that means. It looks like concrete, but it also feels very porous on the surface like very fine lava rock! I am tempted to try and treat it with some sort of water seal. Does anyone out there water-seal their statuary?
