I need to know a question about this tree . Is it advisable to prune this tree?

This tree can be pruned. As a matter of fact, it is a popular hedge plant. However, as with many plants with large leaves, pruning shears give better results than an electric hedge trimmer.

The best time to prune is just before new growth begins in spring. Prune stems extending beyond the hedge line as needed.

I am happy to let mine grow into its natural, rounded shape.
