Lavina, I have a lot of Hedychium coronarium 'white butterfly ginger' in the ground, now dormant. I live in Starkville, MS, which is zone 7b and it grows, multiplies, and blooms well here.

I only have the butterfly ginger and a shampoo ginger and so far neither have bloomed. I love your web page I have about 5 orchids and those orchids are awesome you are doing great on the web page.
One of the dentist in our county is retired and raises orchids.
I am wanting to buy gingers or orchids for that matter.

Lavina, I plan on dividing my 'White Butterfly Ginger' soon.

P.S. Here is an orchid that started to bloom this week. It is gorgeous.
