Never to busy to chat with DG gardeners, though ;-) How's your weather - are you gonna get any snow out of this cold snap?

We have a winter weather advisory for 1-2" of snow from Friday at 3pm (when I clock in at work!) to Saturday at noon. You?

They're threatening snow tomorrow night, but my cynical husband says they're just selling milk and bread for Kroger and Publix :-)

LOL That's funny how everyone flocks to the grocery stores even if an inch or two is predicted. Hey, it's not like we live in Colorado, or Alaska!

I lived in Colorado for several years, and I've spent some quality time in AK. Snow doesn't prompt grocery store runs in those states - they don't bat an eye until they start measuring it in feet, not inches.

Here, I've seen people get antsy about their groceries when they predict a tornado. Really? I mean, if one hits, your groceries are not likely to stay on the pantry shelf. And it's not like the storm is going to hang around for days. Ditto for snow...we have never been "snowed" in here in 11 years, nor in our 15 years in Oklahoma before that. If we stay in on a snowy day, it's by choice, not because we can't get out.
