I love the original purse but now that I am working this piece I just can't decide what I want to do with it.
What do you all think???

I think you would get more use as a runner. It has a Christmas look to it without being all Santa and snowmen that I like. Nice change...

I say go with your gut. If you originally set out to make it as a purse, make it as a purse.

I've changed my mind part way through a project before only to be disappointed in the end results, not because they didn't look nice or people didn't love them, but because it wasn't what I originally set out to do and therefore I disappointed myself by doubting my gut. My last project intact I wanted to make something one way, went another, hated it, and now I ripped the whole thing apart so I can sew it the way I originally set out to do.

Hope that helps you.

I finished it and it is a purse, and it is listed in the marketplace.

I will also be listing my vintage picnic basket / sewing basket soon.

It's nice. What does that mean it's listed in the marketplace? I am still learning my way around this site.

At the top of the page under Daves Garden it lists home, mail, tools etc. On the bottom line it shows Marketplace.
You can buy and sell there. There are several different categories once you get there to browse in. Mine is listed in Arts and Crafts. Let me know if you can't find it or just click here
http://davesgarden.com/products/market/view/16615/ and that will take you there I think. hehe

Seriously? You guys didn't know about the marketplace? No wonder I never got any comments on any of the things I put in there. Guess we need to launch a wake up call for the Marketplace. Heh?

Wow, never knew that was there. Does it work? I mean do people buy from there? Is it free to list there? It's quite interesting. They have several categories, etc. Thanks for the direct link.
