| My husband has a vintage Porsche, which he picked up new at the factory in April 1965. We've been attending car shows for owners of these older cars and I've seen some displays as in the photo. We now have the certificate of authenticity, but I'm at a loss as to where to get one of the display stands. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Ann

| Look for a local woodworking shop or one that does millwork. Bet there is someone there that can make you a stand to display whatever you have.
Another idea - check with any of the picture frame shops. You might want to start there - they can mount and frame the certificate and probably can recommend where to get a stand - any art supply store will have easels that could be used until you have a custom stand built. |

| I briefly looked at Ace Mart for lobby signs and food service signs. probably some other commercial supply company would have something. You might try Amazon or even ebay. |

| Thanks for the suggestions. The certificate is being framed - has absolutely no luck finding a nice frame which would fit the European paper size. Probably a good idea anyway as I'm getting plexiglass so it won't be brokem when we travel in the car.
Frame shop didn't have any really good ideas, but I'll check out an art supply store. And yes, the on-line options might be a good idea too. |

| Thanks. Any of those would do the job, EXCEPT, that's not a very big car and when we are travelling with luggage for a week, anything like this would have to fold up to get it into the car. The entire back area is full of engine and the front luggage compartment is not very big. |

Consider a music stand. Collapsible and easy to find. May need to put a sandbag on the feet, and of course clip or otherwise secure the placard to the top. |

| Now that's a solution that's easy to come up with since I'm a musician. Actually, some of the newer folding stands are quite sturdy too.

| as for frames, http://www.framesbymail.com/ is a nice site. My wife was doing some family tree and grave rubbings and they have a customization system. I had to do some minor drilling and mounting of hanging hardware, but very nice and inexpensive and lexan is available instead of glass.
And, you could have the A size w'ever paper you have matted to a larger (11x14 ?) but standard size. |

| Thanks for the frame suggestions, but it is being framed by my favourite shop as we speak. |

| Thanks. I'll keep an eye on those. Not sure that European A4 paper size in portrait orientation and framed would work with them but possibly something could be modified. |
