Under the Apple icon at the very top left corner of the mac the drop down menu shows the App Store. Go there and search for anything you need. Quicktime is a substitute for flash player...FP is a windows software. I have had the mac 2 1/2 years and the iPad2 since mid-November. I adore them both. Does take patience to get everything up and running.

I don't think QuickTime substitutes for Flash. Not sure if there are any 3rd party apps that will allow it to run Flash stuff but it's worth checking, search the app store for flash player and if some exist they ought to come up

Flash is history for a lot of reasons, primarily because Apple said no flash on their devices...

You could try to access the Africam site with Safari browser, but not sure if that will help you.

Didn't know about the Africam sight. Just "googled" and went straight to it. All the videos are operable on my mac 0SX VERSION 10.7.3

Mac computers have no trouble with Flash, it's just the iPads, iPhones, etc that aren't compatible and can't play Flash stuff

I did some searching and there is an iPad web browser app called iCab mobile that is supposed to be able to play Flash, haven't tried it myself yet but you could give it a try
