All of a sudden my computer has decided that it is going to show pages at the 100% size level. I have had it set at 150% ever since I got it. (old eyes, fact of life. I want bigger print) Why, all of a sudden, do I have to go into "tools" and reset it EVERY TIME I am on a web page? Where can I go to set it once and for all and not have to deal with this garbage every time I come here or to another online site?
On my computer with windows7 and IE8, there is a window way down on the lower right that shows the zoom levels, and I just click when I need to change it. It stays where I set it til it gets changed.(It is just above the date/time on the taskbar. I think you need to have the status bar showing to have it there (up on view>toolbars>status bar)
I have both IE8 and Win. 7...I have no heading "status bar" after view and toolbars. Grrr...I have the "TOOLS" in the upper right hand corner, by the "favorites" and "home" icons, but there is no status bar or toolbars up on that, just the "zoom" heading, which is the one I have to change all the time.
