I've emerged from all ornamental gardening to my first vege garden. I'm very much in the beginner category. I loved your article (thank you!). I have several quick questions, because I'm clueless about this process. Is the germination process without light? After they germinate, which I assume is the first sign of grownth, do I remove the plastic dome lid and start in with the lights? Do I permanently remove the heat after they germinate? Do I nix the plastic dome permanently once the seedlings are growing? Thanks for your patience with some seriously novice questions.

4. Remove the hear after they germinate
5.Once they germinate the dome is no longer needed
