Saw this bird this past week in South Texas, just north of the Rio Grande. Looking through my Sibley's it appears to be a Spotted Sandpiper. I don't see a lot of shorebirds, would like a confirmation.

I beleve that you are right. I saw several of these when I was down there a few week ago.
