I just bought some black bamboo, Phyllostachys nigra 'Improved', and I can't find anyone who can tell me how it is different from other Phyllostachys nigra cultivars. If it's "improved" I'd sure like to know what's better. Does anyone know?

the only place the words ("Phyllostachys nigra 'Improved'") show up on the internet is here on this thread
looks like where you purchased the plant must have added the sales pitch word :-)
