    Amazing something so large could come from such a small egg case...poor thing looked exhausted by the time it got its legs under it...grin

    Yeah, we have those rude buggers too. The walking stick in this pic is from Australia...it is over 8 inches in length...long and skinny and just hanging out by DDs front door...

    My kids used to walk around with the brown ones riding on their shoulder...such fascinating critters...so good at camouflage...grin

    funny seems everyone else only sees them when mating too(looking at the pics)
