Have any of you ever found a tomato that had seeds sprouting inside of it? I heard it's very rare to find and usually occurs with tomatoes stored in cool temps for too long so once warmed up like stored in the supermarket under lights the seeds think its spring and sprout inside, or yellow colored varieties, sometimes its genetic and happens by accident and tomatoes that have it happen dont taste as good/
I found a tomato once that had it but it was Fall and I could not grow any of the seedlings to see if the trait was passed on. For those of you who live where you can grow them all year round I wonder if you grew these special seedlings if they would create a seed sprouting tomato variety!
