    The one on the right of the cherub is from a plant trade-has silver edged leaves and is almost ready to bloom now!
    The other one could be a overgrown dandelion-i have no idea-do you?

    Your overgrown dandelion reminds me of two things! Maybe a Verbascum - Mullen? Or Inula - Elecampane? Sorry, I'm not sure. Joy

    Could it be Hesperis matronalis (Dame's Rocket?) mine kind of look like that this year (they're biennials, so I'll have to wait until next year for blooms)

    I think it might be a yellow dock plant. They have a very deep tap root and are hard to dig up. I lent my camera to my brother-in-law ... or I'd go out and take a picture of one to compare.

    Chinese lanterns are in the background-right to the right of the cherub-short ones!!!
    yellow dock-should i pull it? Its not inula or verbascum!
