Thank you, P_Edens!

How's your spring/summer garden coming along down in MoCity?

Slowly, but surely. I haven't put any plants in the ground yet, but I'm getting it ready. I'm still so new to this gardening thing, it is all a big experiment. But, I learn a little bit more as I go along.

Patti,
I'm just getting underway, too. Feel like I'm way behind, but my second batch of tomato seedlings is just about ready to start hardening off for the raised bed.

I'd been trying to get a raised bed built since probably spring of 2011, but just got it done two weekends ago. Then the weekend rains kicked in on me. All I have to do is fill it and plant the tomatoes I started from seeds on January 2nd (1st batch) and February 12th (2nd batch). I start all my own seedlings.

Lemme know if I can be of any help to you. I'll be starting sweet pepper, eggplant, and okra seeds soon.

Linda
