I have been inter-planting vegetables, herbs, perennials and annuals for many years. Neighbors are amazed when they learn the answer to, "What is that?" This article particularly touched a nerve in that I, too, had to have a very old silver maple that I had used as a landscape focal-point "put down" just last month. A month later, and I cannot wait to begin digging into the new visions! Now if I can just convince the neighbors that a bee-hive is a good thing...
Keep to the vision, Ms. Lavigne!
