Have to share this .. My 7 year old GD was in the shop today I was cutting the bottoms & steams off Martini Glasses. she asked what I was going to use the top part for .. really I had no plans for them. she asked if she could make a lamp & use the top for the shade. her is what she is working on .. she will use a green vinagar bottle for the base

All children are creative if given a chance in a creative and encouraging environment. And it certainly looks as if she is in the right place to bloom. Kudos to both of you!!
BTW, what are you doing with the other pieces of the glass??
