I am looking for an heuchera with green and white leaves. I saw one in a local nursery and believe it had "Christmas" in its name--but of course I did not write it down.
Looking for Heuchera with green and white leaves
Could have been 'Hercules' or 'Snow Angel' My 2 cents: 'Hercules' is a tuffer plant.
I tried to grow Snow Angel 3 times and it never survived the winter. Then I bought Snow Fire - very similar in looks to Snow Angel but it has made it through 3 winters and is larger and more vigourous.
This is my third spring with Snow Angel. After last winter, which was snow, which was snowfall after snowfall,it looked pretty moth-eaten, and I figured a deer found it desirable. This photo was taken after that time, and it grew out nicely.
This year we had a very gentle winter and much of the foliage is missing, but despite heaving, there are lots of healthy heads.
I'm sort of in zone 6b-7a. I will look at Snow Fire. I love variety in heucheras.
I have looked for 'Snow Fire' never could find it. Have to say all of these have a bit of pink in the leaves in winter. I'm on my 2nd Snow Angel if this one dies i'm done. Good old Hercules is a survivor.
