I'm so happy to be back at DG where everyone understands just how severe a case of Spring Fever can be! I'm back at my gardening in full swing this year after a couple of years taking it very easy and small due to illness (combined with the attack of the Bermuda Grass from insufficiently composted horse manure a few years ago). The asparagus bed is done for this year... as weeded as can be and mulched beautifully with a nice mixture of horse and chicken poop with finely sifter wood chips. 5 spears up already so looks like we got it done just in time!
Tomorrow I'm starting my peppers, eggplant and tomato seeds in plugs, outdoors (technically) although they will be inside of my mini soil heater/greenhouses. Here's a couple pics. I'll post more when the seeds are in all cozy.
