My son has been battling a hard brown scale on his Canary Island Palm for over two years. He has repeatedly used oils like Volck in the cooler months and Organicide with little effect. He routinely cuts off the lower fronds as soon as the scale shows up. This is a fairly large specimen tree, are there any systemics that would be safe to use on it?
