Caudiciforms: When to replant and trim??

My Desert Rose is awash with blooms, but I know I need to trim it and repot it up. Should I wait for the blooms to finish or what? I have never repotted this since I bought it.

I would definitely enjoy the blooms and trim and repot after it is done.
