I mosaiced a guitar to go with the dulcimer I did a while back. Here's a link to more pics and some description of how I did it. Hubby and I cut our tiles from stained glass sheets and an old mirror. He made wall hangers for the two instruments.

Thanks, very much, Cindy & Cue_chik. I cleaned off my work bench today, got another project in mind. I'm happiest when I've got something going.

I just did a flower pot, but need some grout sealer and can't find the brand (and don't know the name, only that it comes in a yellow bottle, lol) I like where I live now, may have to take a drive to my old town and get some.

I do better finding almost everything on Amazon.com these days, not good for local economy, but it cuts down on gasoline and frustration.

I appreciate the encouragement! :) I get all involved in a mosaic project and think it's awesome, and then when I'm finished I think how I could have done it so much better. I guess that's human nature.

Love the effect with the stained glass, particularly on the neck and glass beads inside the guitar, how did you do that? Love that your husband helps too. My husband does to a point, but he suffers me more than getting involved! So much can be achieved if you work together!

Love the dulcimer! Obviously, you don't leave them out in the garden? They hang in the house? They look good in the garden though. Did you husband have to take the guitar apart for you to place the internal glass beads? Really curious! Beautiful website by the way!
