    I had no idea there were so many varieties of redbuds, or that the foliage (summer or fall) could be so striking, too!

    Aren't they fabulous? I had no idea either till I started to read.
    But even my homegrown one caused my neighbor in the back to remark to me how much they enjoyed the show.

    We have several redbuds in the neighborhood that really put on a show, too. They make the 'hood seem so inviting and almost storybook-like, along with the other spring bloomers. They're definitely a landscape plus!

    Especially when they are in bloom when the dogwwods are blooming too! A beautiful combination from Mother Nature.
