I went to my local garden center today to buy a few plants. I am in there all the time so the owners know me pretty well. They gave me two half dead Asparagus Ferns, told me I could have them if I saved them. Does anyone have any suggestions. Half the plant is brown and dry and dead, which I will be removing shortly. I have never grown these or had them before. I am attaching pictures of both of them, so you can see what I am talking about. Excuse the crappy photos but they came off of my webcam.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

That's a true Asparagus, not a fern - try a different forum ;-)

Oh my lol :) Now what to do with them? I wonder why they had them in the tropical section with tropical pricing lol. Thanks so much Resin!

Yes technically it's not a 'fern' but I've always seen it labeled as such in houseplant sections of the garden centre, and it's grown primarily as a foliage houseplant.

Your plants look pretty sorry for themselves, I'm not surprised they were given away. You might try the houseplants forum for advice on how to rejuvinate them.
