I would not have purchased our current home if I had known running bamboo was here. The previous owner kept it mowed down.

We've been fighting it for six years so we can have a vegetable garden.

My one and only advice for anyone even tempted to grow this invasive plant is to NEVER, NEVER, NEVER grow running bamboo!
