Insect and Spider Identification
jstover24 Huntersville, NC Hi there, I am in North Carolina and noticed these spiders on our tree this afternoon. Any idea what kind and if I should be cautious with them? We have little ones around so want to make sure they are not dangerous to them.

Flapdoodle Minot, ND Not spiders but nymphs of an assassin bug such as the wheel bug -
Painful bite, but otherwise harmless.
jstover24 Huntersville, NC Interesting, are they bad for the tree? Should I worry about getting rid of them?
Flapdoodle Minot, ND They are general predators on other insects; they will not harm the tree.
