Please help!!!
What can be done with web sites that the writing is hidden by black areas. If you hold down your mouse button and drag it , it will lighten up the area so you can read it.
Thanks for any help

Do you experience a lot of them or only one here or there. If it is only here or there then most likely it's poor website design. If there are a lot then it's most likely some setting in your browser. Post a link and I'll try it on my computer.

It is only here and there, I have deleted the web sites that do it, so can not link any up. But one that was doing it has just stopped.
I will try to find one. Back in a bit.

Here's what it looks like on my computer. It's white letters on a black background. There are or should be settings within your browser that may be over riding the web page.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. If you have a Dell, HP etc go to the manufacturers website and punch in your computers info and see if there is a newer version available. This program ( freebie ) has a scan of basic drivers built in, it's in the Toolbox section.

Can't remember if it want's to install a Toolbar, if so decline, in fact decline anything except the main program.

I had a similar problem in the past and I remember it had to do with an odd setting in my browser at that time ( was using Mozilla back then), then I tried to open the website with another browser (Chrome) and it was fine, with Opera was also OK, so the problem was from the browser. I think you did not mention opening the problematic sites with different browsers to see if there will be a difference. Hope you will resolve the issue soon.
