I just placed an order for this newer variety of ASTRANTIA known as 'Princess Sturdza'.

What ASTRANTIAS do you especially enjoy in your garden? Can you post pictures?

No one using ASTRANTIAS in a somewhat shady area of their garden?

1) I just bought Fire of Star last weekend but haven't actually used it in the garden yet.

2) And I have four white Astrantia from last year that were planted in part sun.

I've never grown Astrantia, but now I'm intrigued. Princess Sturdza doesn't seem to be available in the US, Canning doesn ship here, and there aren't many sources for any of the varieties, either. I haven't seen them in local nurseries that I can remember... I'd love to find white, I have the perfect spot.

I was in my local nursery the other day and they had for sale the white flowered Astrantia known as "Alba".

I hope to be able to visit this nursery soon. Take a look at all the varieties of ASTRANTIA they carry!
