I found this iris blooming yesterday and am puzzled about where it came from. It's growing at the edge of a clump of the tall bearded Hot Spiced Wine. Is it possible that it is a self sown seedling or a mutation of Hot Spiced Wine? The second photo shows it along with HSW. They have the same colored beards and the veining around the beards is a lot alike. Any ideas of where this one came from? I like the striped look of it.
