Break the top of Foxglove's bloom stalk off. It will put up multiple bloom stalks along the stem instead of one. You can then use some of these in vases without it being missed.
If you are able to get a photo of the results and post it here later, that would be helpful. Thanks
I just planted two new ones and will take your advice.
I'll take a photo tomorrow. I found out how to do this because someone broke out the top of my Foxglove while the buds were developing. Keep in mind the main stalk is broken after it starts growing up taller. I thought it wouldn't bloom, but after a few weeks, it started putting up side branches along that main stalk. What you get is multiple bloom stalks. I think it had 6 or 7. I picked one of them and put it in a vase. I was really upset when it was broken! But I decided to see what would happen. If you have a bunch of these and wanted to try it on a few, it would be fun to see how many blooms you get.
