This tree is a common site in my neck of the 'woods', but have no idea. Thanks for the help!

Prunus - one of the Cherries. It would help to see a bloom to narrow it down.

I looked into seeing whether I had a picture of it from past years but I cannot find it. I believe it is a very brilliant pink bloom, possibly with some white on the flower. Does that help at all?

I just found a video of what they look like:

Prunus virginiana "Chokecherry" I believe. The growth habit looks right for an pruned, older tree. Chokecherry will also have a hairless midrib on the underside of the leaf. They usually bloom white then darken to pink, healthy trees will be almost completely covered in blooms.
