| Hi all…This is a neighbors tree. Small, no more than about 6ft. Blooms in Spring, ( drat, just missed it) White flower. I thought maybe Mock Orange, but has no fragrance. I'm stumped….

| Hard to see with the small images. Do you have larger images? Reminds me of Viburnum. |

| if it makes 2- 3 inch flowers that have 4 petals, then it is problably a mock orange ( philadelphis) |

| I doubt Viburnum davidii would be too happy in Jacksonville, FL. I find it really hard to figure this ID out with a more clear pic. |

| The flowers that I just missed are the 4 petal white, which also made me think Philadelphis. No fragrance…. Here are a couple more pics I took last evening…..I hope they are better than the first! :-)

| I've read that some newer MO may not be fragrant as the old ones. I don't know if that means NO fragrance. An MO without good fragrance is not a great plant IMHO. |

| the spent flower parts look similar to my mock orange, but the stems and leaves are different, and mine had a fragrance. |

| The spent flower thingies are a match for mockorange. So then look around at close relatives of the mockorange that we are thinking of. Maybe there's one whose leaves look different. |
