1. Canon Wentworth Linaria
Tall, about 3 feet, with grey-green leaves and light pink flowers. The flowers resemble teeny-tiny snapdragons (to me-- you can tell I never took a horticulture course in my life.
Here's a link to a DG photo that looks like mine. Self sows freely.
I'll claim a spot here.

I'm still working on it!
Marcy, I added some more plants. And LOL about the ferns.
I'll go ahead and pot you some of the vines. The seeds came up in like 2 days. I have to keep some put back for a sale but whatever isn't ordered by the 12th, will be added to my list.
Please beg Dave to drive! PLEASE! You are more than welcome to stop here again. I know it adds to the trip for you but it also gives you a break and puts you back on 68 which I thought wasn't a bad drive for you?
I'm not opposed to renegotiating a meeting site for next year so long as the 'elders' from the 4 corners agree. ;) I had mentioned Cowan Lake a couple of years ago and it was shot down but I don't remember why. My 8 year old went to a sleepover party at a cabin there last weekend. They are really nice.
Celene I have a pretty varied bunch of Aroids now.
Mostly C.e. varieties, Alocasia and some UnK Xanthes.
Lime Zinger, Black Coral, Diamond Head, Black Magic and Runner, Mojito, possibly Stingray, Big Dipper...
Hmmm...I have other aroids, the philodendrony indoor ones. I have real skill at killing the Colocasia/Alocasia and similar over winter. Though this year I wintered over one of the black foliaged ones successfully.
Someone wanted a Plectranthus ernstii...the bonsai plectranthus, it gets kind of a caudex. Was it here?

wake robin (red trillium)

Shadowgarden, I have garlic chives if you are interested. They look like chives, but have a distinct garlic flavor. I cut a bunch eacvh year and chop them and store them in the freezer for all my Italian stuff. I never learned to cook with herbs and spices , so they and green onions are the only ones I use. But then, I don't cook much.LOL I can also bring red day lililes. Pretty, just no ID.
I have plenty if anyone else is interested.
I also have miniature hostas, rose campion magenta, creeping thyme, hardy hibiscus(Pink),and one rooted start of akebia vine.(Chocolate vine).
I'm looking for a not to invasive agasthe, salvia, any except purple, any elephant ears. I also have walking onions if anyone is interested. Lou
Yes I'll try the garlic chives and the red day lilies would be great. I am fighting back against the deer who eat my lilies and I read that if you plant chives around them they will leave the lilies alone. Would you like a mushroom or a flower of a particular color or would you rather pick out one I bring.
Shadowgarden, what cranesbill would you like? I have some biokovo with a light pink flower and a low growing habit. I have some bluish purple that is much taller than the biokovo, but it was here when I bought the house so I don't know what type it is.
Celene, I am interested in your aglaia odorata and Coccinia indica.
I can give you something I bought as golden majoram, and I find it is also called Gold Crisp oregano. I also have a dwarf Lady's Mantle which I can probably divide.
I am potting up stuff as I prune and thiin in the gardens. I seem to have a lot of the stuff Dispatcher already mentioned. Plus:
Lots of Tri-color Variegata ornamental hot pepper seedlings - Celene, Chele
Bleeding Heart Dicentra formosa - Rebecca, Lou
Hardy begonia - Chele
Black mondo grass - Marcy, Chele
Green mondo grass
Esther...I would love some black mondo grass! What can i bring you?
I have about everything there is i think...lol! Except contorted hazel...lol.@ Chele!
I have this chimney tower/pot planted with blood grass...and want to put black mondo around it...saw this in a magazine ...or somewhere...and really liked it.
Rebecca...I have one hardy geranium that will spread like crazy...if thats what you are interested in...and it loves the shade too. It has pink flowers...dont know the name of it.
Ok, I am making a note of the requests and will be editing my list above. Marcy, you wouldn't happen to have any Pulsatilla (also Pasque Flower, Anemone pulsatilla) do you? I seem to have lost an old plant and 2 new 2011 purchases.
Chele, when did you email me? Last time was August 2011 - I just checked the gmail address (which I hardly ever use). I was looking for a "Little Honey" hydrangea last year. I can probably dig up volunteer trees and make cuttings of various shrubs for you just before the RU.
I can bring contorted hazel cuttings if anyone wants to try starting them. I have failed to make new plants after trying for many years.
We have 8 Colocasia 'Diamond Head' to trade.
It's the second blackest Aroid out there. Actually have electric blue veins in the right light.
It gets HUGE w/ the right conditions and overwinters dormant quite well.
'Black Coral' is the deepest black but it's just not pupping at this point.
Hi, everybody! It's me again!?! Looking forward to seeing you all at Chilo!
Just wanted to get on the trade list in case I have something somebody would like--
I have to trade:
classic Siberian Iris
Coral bells of the old fashioned reddish kind
cuttings from Honeysuckles, Hops vine, passifloras (common).
Would like (and I am happy to trade for 'CASH' if you like--D-mail me on this)
Tiarellas, Heucherellas and Heucheras that have some blue-green-white-raspberry colorations
Tall Mexican Sunflowers
Dutchman's pipevine durior or tomentosa (not elegans) for the pipevine swallowtails
Zinnia 'Benary's Giants'
Campanula/Canterbury Bells (all kinds)
Hardy Geraniums like Max Frei, Visions white or pink, Biokovo white, purple pillow (and any low compact growers for edging)
Dogwood (spring grove especially)
Salvias various kinds that hummingbirds like
anything that the Hummingbirds like LMK
Those listed above are on my 'wish list' and please D-mail me if you see yourself parting with any of these... of course, I am happy to share anything not listed from my garden that is bountiful--if you think of anything you might want, LMK It just seems like you all have everything I have already--
Esther... I DO have hardy hibiscus. I will see if I can get a start of it! I also have primroses but they are new...and nothing to get a start from I'm afraid...but will look today!
Ric or Michele...do either of you have any of the black gamecock iris left? If so...would love to have one.
Chele...what is the best way to keep the cuttings to get them there to you??? I'm not sure??
Pat...what can i bring you?
And Rebecca...I have several other hardy geraniums to bring you as well...plus confederate violets...smilesss.!!

Ester would I have anything to trade for one of the Bleeding hearts?
Celene would you trade a Kohleria "Bogentensis for a sedam love and tangles and angeline?
This may not be the correct forum to post this to but I will post it on a couple others also.
I had a thought, maybe I should of left it to die of loneliness, but what about have a silent auction, regular auction or garage sale type sale, and having the attendees bring something or things that they no longer need, and donating the proceeds to Gigi's garden fund? JUst a thought! Lou
Ric, I had thought some pots by my greenhouse that had buds, were the Gamecock until they bloomed. They are Iris versicolor I got last year from another friend. The pots from you are sitting in the bog. Do you remember if you put tags in them? Thought I'd ask before shoving my hand in. LOL
Pat...I will bring you some siberian iris...would you also want an iris bred by Horace Wright...nephew of the Wright Brothers? I just got them...and they are still potted...not sure what all colors I have till I go look..I do know there is a yellow one...a pretty shade of yellow too!
Ric...I will surprise you n Robyn...OK??? (no ferns, I promise!)
Celene, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. I just miss your post. I would love the Kohleria and the other sedam. I have Rasberry Parade, lemon zest, Harmans stinkly pink, Thad's Pink dot, Jim's Red Trail, and Pink Acajou Episcia stolons I can bring if these are any you don't have. Lou
