Paul,
Thanks for the details re. how to use beer to bait and drown slugs. I have never used it myself. So, just the other day, when someone told me she was using beer and it wasn't working, I wasn't sure what to suggest. Now I can tell her and others to use a deep container and leave "stretch room" at the top!
