I believe your right, didn't notice mandevilla only goes to z10 and cross vine is much hardier.

bellafortuni is right it is Distictis buccinatoria. I love this vine. Can't find it in Florida.

Ohhh forgot about this one... CAMPSIS RADICANS I always get CAMPSIS RADICANS and Distictis buccinatoria.
