Gorgeous! I can only image the smell. My yellow one is flowering now, that's it. I just got a siam ruby and a candy stripe.

Really Danasplants that frangipani vine has no scent? Now I'm disappointed, I've been looking after one for 2 years and awaiting it to bloom thinking it would smell wonderful..by the way...your plumies are gorgeous...great photos too

danasplants wow those last two pictures look like they would glow in the dark! incredible!
i had no idea there was an ylang ylang vine? i have a tree and one that is more like a shrub? maybe that is the one you are talking about. i gave one to my neighbor that has full sun he made it into a huge hedge. the frangrance of the shrub is a little disappointing, there is kind of an acrid smell to it.

the seeds are artabotrys hexapetalus i got the original seeds from bedouin (here on daves). she lives close by, the plant never did well in my yard so i gave some to a neighbor about ten years ago. i dont think it is meant to be a hedge i think he just has cut it like that. it looks really nice i will take a picture. i would love to trade.

My ylang Ylang vine is not wanting to flower for the past two years...The first time it did it was an amazing scent but each year after that nothing. I think because I have it in a pot and forget about it since it's in the front yard it is punishing me. I'm scared to put it in the ground incase it goes crazy, I saw Bedouin's and it got pretty tall. I'd love to see a pic Candela of your neighbors.

Crazy is good no bloom bad thats my thoughts I will put mine in the ground but I worry about freeze killing it . But I have to have greenhouses up for all my other stuff so I will plant it where one of those go so its protected during the few cold months. I can not wait for mine to bloom the frangipani vine is still blooming 2 months none stop. Astcgirl I would move it and if it gets growing too much theres always clippers
