This has been here for years and is spreading like a wildfire. It's either a perennial, or it reseeds itself very prolifically. It's about 2 ft or so high. My mom has tried to kill it with bleach, round-up, uprooting it etc., but it won't die. We live in zone 5 Indiana.

Sorry, I'm not getting Daucus carota from that (especially from the foliage, and the inflorescence should be subtended by bracts)... it's Aegopodium podagraria.

I totally agree. The foliage was throwing me off too but it looked so familiar (back lane is full of it but it rarely blooms).

Thank you all for suggestions, Aegopodium podagraria looks more like it. I wasn't convinced of Queen Anne's Lace beacuse the leaves looked way different.

Good luck on getting rid of this one. It has my whole community by the roots.

I don't know if I can dead head it all lol, it goes over three sides of the house, behind the garage, and a bit of it is getting into the back yard, and I can't spray all of it either without affecting some hostas and ferns that are being overshadowed by it.

It's not so much self-sowing as extremely invasive fine roots with this one... It can be eradicated with time, but it tends to be more work than most people like!

Rather than spray, you can Paint roundup onto the leaves with a small paint brush...lessens the danger to other plants in the same area.

The foliage on the first picture threw me off, too.
I'd trade having Aegopodium as a weed over palm tree seedlings ANY day of the week !
