Looks like an elephant ear.

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 10b)

Looks like calla to me.

Stamford, CT(Zone 6b)

It might be a calla (zantedeschia). When the "bulb" has a lot of eyes, it is not unusual for each one to sprout. I think it is actually a corm and a member of the aroid family, not a lilium. The veination appears to be different from that of the foliage of my callas, and the leaf size and shape appear to be different. You will need to see if it has some kind of florescence to know for certain.

Check the aroids forum to see if it matches with any of the postings. There is also a lot of good info there.

Thanks everybody.......

My DH vaguely remembers putting a Calla Lily there..........maybe........we'll see!

If it's a calla, don't forget to send a picture of the bloom.

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

It was a Calla Lily. A very light pink one. My DH had planted it there 2 years ago and thought it croaked because it did not come up last year.

Thank you all for all your help! I love gardeners!!♥
