    Hey guys,
I found this spider sitting on my kitchen floor. As i walked in it started running away - it's about the 3rd of these i've found in as many weeks so i'd really like to know if it's dangerous or not.

From the picture and a spider reference chart it sort of looks like a wolf spider - aprt from the round abdomen.

    Any ideas?

It most likely is a wolf spider - see http://australianmuseum.net.au/Uploads/Comments/669/spider.j... - but some fishing spiders can appear quite similar - http://ketenewplymouth.peoplesnetworknz.info/image_files/000...

    Neither are dangerous to humans.
