Perennials: Heucheras do grow in crevices.

Someone on DG wrote that she had spoken to Dan Heims and he reportedly said that heucheras grow in crevices in the wild and require little fertilization. Here's the proof. I haven't had the heart to remove 'Palace Purple' from the crevice in the retaining wall.
