Poison ivy has been on the rise on our property for the last two years. We have a 1 acre meadow that it has taken over and it seems to love growing in barberries.
What are some tips to getting rid of poison ivy in barberries and how can I do a mass erradication in the meadow?

Around here, poison ivy loves shrubs also. To control it around shrubs, we locate the base of the poison ivy plant and cut it off and paint the cut with undiluted Roundup. This usually kills young green stemmed plants, but for those with older woody stems, we add Dicamba. And yes, it is a long battle.
