Hi Guys,

This is Dan.

I found this spider.

Can you help identify its type?

Does it bite?

It it a harmless spider? Beneficial? Neither?

Thanks for your time

Dan

Ground spider in family Gnaphosidae - harmless to humans. Nearly all spiders can bite but very few are dangerous - see 'sticky' on spider bites.

Hi Flapdoodle! (funny name...)

Thanks for the fast response.

Found it near my baby's crib...

Wanted to make sure he wasn't in any danger...

Thanks!

Dan
