    what's the name of this canna with green leaves, white flowers, yellow inside with an orange center. its leaves are aromatic. saw it in florida and southern china.

    Is it a Canna, it looks very like one of the Ginger plants that grow like weeds in Florida, has it got a perfume, that would be helpful.
    Hope someone else can come in and help out as I only visit that area and dont live there.

    Can you post a bigger picture? It's very hard to see any detail in this one because it's so small.

    i'm thinking Alpinia of some kind but a bigger picture would certainly help.

    WeeNel, maybe you're right. maybe is from the ginger family. the leaves were use to cover a new year cake in my village for is aroma. i upload more pics.
