    This plant has been around longer than I can remember. It was my mothers and I like it to be healthier. Its growing weird and besides not too much light and not too much water I'm clueless. Any help on what it is so I can figure out how to get it healthy would be appreciated

    Yeah, I agree, it , it's SO sad looking…Very unhappy….Rubber tree, a definite probability….More light, gradually, and more food, also gradually….It might just survive, and thrive! :-)) Good Luck! :-)))

    It looks like the soil is almost all peat. You may want to change that for something with much larger particles. Plants can suffocate/rot if there are no little air pockets in the soil. Totally agree with more sun, as already advised, and a thorough soaking so that the water runs out of the drain hole in the bottom.
