These two shrubs are about 6' X 8' and bloom mid June. Their leaves are too wide and short to be a butterfly bush and the blossoms are fuzzy and overall stockier. The spent flowers turn brown (see last year's brown blossoms in photo) and they remain until cut off. I am creating spread sheets on all 50 different plants, shrubs and trees on our property for fertilizing, pruning, propagating, etc. I can't seem to find this one. Please help!

Resin...I almost decided on that too but the Spirea has a flatter, domed-shaped flower grouping.

Resin and themoonhowl...yes, you both have answered correctly. I had searched and couldn't find it. Thanks again!
