| She is in hiding right now!!!! We are in the process of changing several rooms around and I was afraid something would happen to her. She is wrapped in bubble and in my quilt room so she won't get jostled at all... Mu dear hubby got me the Stiffen Stuff and it works so nicely. Thanks for the tip...
How are you doing in all this heat? I find it hard to use yarn or thread when it is this hot. |

| Thanks Fish!
Believe it or not I am still using the threads and working with them outside. Long as I am in the shade I am usually fine. I made a small angel yesterday while outside and it was in the 90's.
Glad she is doing well.
I just had my breast cancer reconstruction done on Monday, it was a 2 1/2 surgery so I haven't been able to do much other than sit and knit! |

| Good luck with that Barb. Is there a long recoup time with that? |

| Depends on which surgery I can have. If they can do it with laproscopy it is a short recovery time. If not and I have to be cut open, then it may be 2-3 months. Won't know which I get until it's over!!!! |

| Glad to know that you are doing prep for the surgery. That will surely help with a speedy recovery.
All is fine here, still working on angels and such. Stopped posting all of them as they are beginning to all look alike lol!
Still in the heat wave 10+ days of 99 or 100 degrees. Hoping for a break in the high 80s today!
Been making my arrangements and have put 6+ loaves of zucchini bread in the freezer.
Do you have gardens? I have a chat going on the patio here if you would like to join?

| Thank you so much for the invite to the chat. I'm afraid my garden days are over but I do still have a couple indoor plants. I'm on oxygen 24/7 now and I try to save the portable tanks for when I go shopping or to visit with family and friends.
I'm really happy to hear your heat wave is breaking. How can you bake in temps like that???? We love zucchini bread up here too and maybe I'll get busy myself... |

| Sorry to hear you are on the oxygen all the time, but long as it helps that is the important thing.
I don't mind the heat long as I don't have to be in the sun. Been in the 80's although high 80's and about semi comfortable. We don't have the AC on just open windows and ceiling fans.
Got a recipe for zucchini/coconut custard pie that I might try next week! |
