    Hi, I'm new here. I have a question, really for a friend who wanted to know what this plant is. I figure it's an exotic, but I don't know for sure. I've looked at the NY State list of invasives, and couldn't find it. Can you help me ID this plant? Thanks.

    maybe some kind of sow thistle? does it have any prickles on it?

    Cannot tell from the photo. It looks like the leaves are somewhat eaten. If the notched leaves are sort of round, it may be garlic mustard.

    Thanks for the responses!

    He says no "prickers" but does have "hair"

    I've asked for some more detailed pictures. I'll post those when I get them.

    A new picture, just sent to me from the friend of mine who is asking about this plant. I'm thinking it is indeed sow thistle, but I don't know for sure...
