    more confusion over identification. I went to a plant sale at the communnity college, $1 ea. great price. I asked for a bell pepper. this is what I have. does anyone know what it is?

    Very cautiously bite into one. It could be a "hot" pepper.

    I looks a lot like a chili pepper but am not sure. I would think that you can count on it being somewhat hot.

    It is hot it could be one many, cayenne being popular in that shape. If sweet ( non -hot) maybe a frying type.

    Looks like an Anaheim pepper.
    which is a very mild hot pepper.they make great Chile relleno ( stuffed Chile usually with cheese )
