I believe this is a Rhododendron. Narrow small leaves, some of the branches are crestated. It has been kept in a glass greenhouse. In a #3 pot and only about 2' tall.

Its a Vireya Rhododendron, but there are more than 200 sp. and many hundreds of hybrids to choose from, and yours is not an obvious one to me. You might look at R. seranicum, and the many stenophylla hybrids

I agree it's a Vireya Rhododendron. R. seranicum sure looks close. Should I get more pics?

You might... It might be better to post it on a Rhody forum or send it to one of the bigger nurseries (such as Bovee's)

There is a Yahoo vireya group, too. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vireya/
